I am always glad that I was lucky enough to be born and raised in San Diego, a fabulous, diverse, exciting city! When I was growing up, North Park was run down and forgotten.... but its past was the heart of San Diego.... with old art-deco cottages and tons of small diners everywhere.

The city has revamped the location and now it looks like it really rocks.... like a new, happening hillcrest neighborhood (where the zoo, the gay neighborhood, Balboa Park, gardens and all the museums are in San Diego). Can't wait to see the neighborhood over break!

When I was younger.... I used to run with friends to this point and jump into the ocean.... over and over and over again. I miss that. A lot.
